Walter Reis-Innovation Award for employees of the iwb (TU Munich) for a robot solution using 3D Creator capabilities

RevXperts GmbH, Supplier of innovative solutions for quality control and robotic congratulates Mr. Dipl. Ing. Ulrich Munzert and Mr. Dipl. Ing. Wolfgang Vogl from Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Betriebswissenschaften (iwb) der TU München. They received the 1.Price in the theme field: Innovation of the kinematic, the control and moving technique for robots for their contribution. The developed an intuitive and task oriented System to simplify the programming and speed-up the working time of robot applications. In this case the 3D points for the robot path can be realised with free movable probe of the 3D Creator. The values are available in real time for the system software Robocad. This software allows to optimise the robot path with the given process parameters before the path values are getting transferred to the control unit. According to the analysis of the iwb in RLS applications there are reductions of 65% in programming time and over 30% in the working time reachable.
