3D Creator and the Aberlink 3D software offer now measurements without mechanical restrictions and with a high degree of flexibility. Using the free-hand moveable pencil probe of the 3D Creator the measurements can be taken at the locations where they are required. Aberlink 3D is a geometric measurement software designed around a graphical interface and there for easy to use, but has also the depth of functionality to support complete inspection tasks.

Aberlink 3D Software description

The 3D Creator is completely integrated with the Aberlink 3D software allowing all necessary parameter settings and handling functions to be controlled directly from the user interface during the measurement process.

Aberlink 3D software is designed around a graphical interface and builds up a picture of the component being inspected on the computer screen. Dimensions can be picked off the picture in a way that corresponds directly to the way the component has been dimensioned on the drawing. Additionally the software can be configured for use in either 2-dimensions or 3-dimensions and is usable on different kinds of measurement systems.

Inspection and Reports

Inspection reports can be in the form of fully dimensioned graphical representations as created on the screen or tabulated reports in various formats that can show nominal tolerances, errors, pass/fails, geometric tolerances, etc. These reports can also be outputted as an Excel spreadsheet.
