RevWorks brings intelligent Reverse Engineering capabilities to all SolidWorks users

Engineers and designers use RevWorks and SolidWorks to capture data from existing parts directly within the SolidWorks environment maintaining the associativity so they can design better products faster and more accurately, speeding time to market.

RevWorks can be operated in two different modes, the single point mode for taking all the regular geometry and the scan mode. Especially the scan mode allows to digitize the profile lines right from a complex surface without having a specific edge to follow. Surfaces, which need no parametric information can be directly imported by using the “DirectScan” mode.

RevWorks in combination with the following digitzing and measurement devices

RevWorks integrates the complete control of the digitizer system, which allows an optimal adjustment of the data acquisition already during the scanning process. RevWorks supports the calibration of the digitizer, as well as the automatic probe compensation, if changed during the scanning process.
